It was in a Missouri farming community that Gary was born and raised. The rural setting in the fifties formulated the steadfast work ethic that he holds to this day. While serving in the Air Force, during the Vietnam conflict, Gary married Becky and God has blessed them with six children and fourteen grandchildren.

Gary spent thirty-one years in the business world prior to surrendering to full time ministry as Pastor of Adult Ministries and Administration at Frederick Boulevard. At Frederick he has been blessed with the privilege of serving God and the church the last eight years.

His love of being a grandpa grows each and every day and consumes much of his spare time.
