But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2

Purpose

To submit and support the leaders of FBBC by ministering to women.

Mission

To encourage women throughout their journey in life to know Christ personally, grow to maturity, and share Christ with others.

Vision

  • Reaching women of all ages and stages of life for Christ.
  • Praying for and serving the women of FBBC.
  • Challenging women to deepen their relationship with Christ through study of His Word.
  • Encouraging them to identify and use their gifts and providing them opportunities to do so.
  • Inspiring women to share their faith in Christ with others.

2008 Theme - Love

Bible Study Team - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible Study Team plans and implements the Bible study program teaching women God’s Word in order to equip them to Biblically fulfill the various roles to which He has called them.


Prayer Team - Psalm 141:1-2
The Prayer Team plans and implements programs that will teach, encourage and provide opportunity for prayer.


Mentoring Team - Psalm 145:4
The Mentoring Team plans and implements a mentoring program within the Women’s Ministry.


Events Team - Hebrews 10:24-25
The Events Team organizes and oversees the planning of the Women’s Ministry Events.


Compassion Team - 1 Peter 3:8
Compassionate friends are the hands and feet, the eyes and heart of Jesus. The Compassion Team plans and implements a ministry to share the compassion of Christ.


Child Care Team - Psalm 127:3
The Child Care Team desires to provide quality, Biblically-based child care for the women attending Bible studies, prayer meetings, and events.


Finance Team - 1 Corinthians 4:1-2
The Finance Team assists the Women’s Ministry by overseeing the budget of the Women’s Ministry while being good stewards of God’s money.
